David launched the micro blogging and social sharing platform Tumblr in 2007, using money and experience he'd acquired as a software consultant for online parenting site UrbanBaby. Tumblr hit 20 billion posts this year, and the company more than doubled in size in the last six months. David will disscuss Tumblr’s relationship to the fashion community, how they have embraced the platform and how users have contributed to the company’s massive growth. In 2010, he was named by the MIT Technology Review TR35 one of the world’s top 35 innovators under the age of 35.
