He learned the ropes working for his father’s company after attending college in Los Angeles, and while he initially wanted to break into journalism, he came to realize that eyewear was in his blood: In 2009, he opened up an optical store (A. Kinney Court) in Venice Beach, then launched his own namesake brand in 2011.”
