U.K. Retailers Are Still Mid-Voyage When It Comes To Cross-Channel Sales

“A new report, entitled “The New Economics of Multichannel: Now is the Time” finds more than one in four (28%) multichannel retailers do not know how much they are spending to fulfill each sale through such channels as home delivery, bricks and mortar, and buy online, pick up in-store. Additionally, 60% of retailers separate stock by sales channel, meaning, for example they aren’t able to fulfill a web order from a store, which can lead to losing sales or stocking too much inventory in order to fill all orders in all channels.”
